"Antarman Se" is a collection of poems by Dr Indu Agarwal that revolve around the theme of reflection at the sunset of life. The client wished to see a minimalist coffee table book in landscape format with white text on black paper as a base stylistic choice. I was asked to come up with the initial design concept brief and proceed to do the layout work and cover design based on it.
The book being a coffee table book, I paid attention to factors such as the distribution of negative space and the balance between visual consistency and keeping things aesthetically interesting. The cover image plays with the concept of reflection that runs through the book.
