For the playing cards production project during the typography course at AID, I chose to make an illustrated playing cards deck with Gillian Flynn theme. Along with a rough, handwritten style font produced with ink on paper, each of these cards bears a quote from her books or my illustration based on them. Flynn’s books often seek to dive into the darker, complex side of human psychology, which I considered suited well with the thematic goal of my art in general.
